Mt. Parnassus

When will I write poetry?
Mt. Parnassus I climb,
Let my thoughts free,
Before my death toll chimes.

Perhaps there’s no sense
In the end we all die.
Love is only past-tense.
Is there peace above the sky?

I climb Mt. Parnassus,
Looking for you and I,
Looking for what was us.
I’m blown by your last sigh.

“Paeon where are you?”
My dark thoughts make me cry.
For, his grey ashes flew
With me wishing for more time.

Through the harsh journey we take
Of Parnassus mountain
Spend time with those awake.
All roads lead to an end.

Mt. Parnassus in Greek mythology was a source of inspiration for poets and writers.
